Aurora Cabins, a boutique property perched on Balis forested mountainside, is a masterclass in doing things right - refined Nordic-inspired architecture, thoughtful service, and a promise that matches the experience exactly. Yet, even the most authentic projects can become visually standardized in the crowded hospitality landscape. Auroras communication relied on practical, accurate imagery, but this realism - while admirable - risked blending it into the noise of other beautiful stays. The challenge was not to reinvent or romanticize, but to amplify what already works - to find data-driven and emotional ways to highlight Auroras quiet excellence, without compromising its truth.

Aurora Cabins had the physical masterpiece: hillside cabins with glass ceilings, sunrise views over Mount Batur, and a jungle that hums like a heartbeat. But emotion needed a visual language.

Aurora Cabins had the physical masterpiece: hillside cabins with glass ceilings, sunrise views over Mount Batur, and a jungle that hums like a heartbeat. But emotion needed a visual language.

Our collaboration with Aurora Cabins focused on connecting operational precision with emotional resonance — aligning what guests feel with what they see and book. We approached it as a hybrid of data science, brand strategy, and sensory design. 1. Data & Behavior Analysis Extracted and analyzed guest profiles from Cloudbeds, mapping seasonality, source channels, and booking behaviors. Simulated customer personas based on actual conversion and review data. 2. Market & Channel Expansion Managed and optimized Google Ads to increase direct booking performance. Expanded Aurora’s OTA ecosystem (Booking, Airbnb, Agoda) for diversified revenue streams. Integrated bloggers and UGC creators to amplify awareness organically, ensuring authenticity remained intact. 3. Experience Enhancement & Operational Advisory Recommended new food suppliers and telescope additions to strengthen the property’s unique “stargazing” narrative. Conducted on-site creative direction sessions to align visual communication with the real sensory experience. 4. Narrative Development & Future Positioning Proposed alternative positioning strategies to emotionally differentiate Aurora within Panoramika’s portfolio. Developed unpublished visual studies exploring cinematic, atmosphere-driven storytelling — showing how Aurora could evolve without losing its grounded aesthetic.
